TNM Super League kicks Off with exciting moments, surprises

The 2025 TNM Super League has certainly started with some exciting moments and surprises.

Yohane Malunga for MAFCO made history as the first player to score a goal in the 2025 season, leading MAFCO to a 1-0 victory over Chitipa United at Chitowe Stadium.

Babatunde Adepoju then followed up with a goal to help FCB Nyasa Big Bullets secure a 1-0 win over Silver Strikers in the match opener at Bingu Stadium.

Ekhaya FC, the newly introduced team, won their first match of the season 2-0 over Mighty Tigers, making a strong debut in the league.

MAFCO and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are among the teams that started the season with a win.

On the flip side, Silver Strikers made history as the first team to lose at home in the 2025 season, while Chitipa United and Mighty Tigers also suffered defeats in their opening games.

Yohane Malunga, Babatunde Adepoju, and Lovemore Beta earned the first “Man of the Match” awards, showcasing their excellent performances.
