Thyolo woman arrested for biting husband’s private parts
Police in Thyolo are keeping in custody a 41-year-old woman, Takondwa Njirayagoma, on suspicion of assaulting her husband by biting his private parts following a domestic dispute over alleged infidelity.
According to Thyolo Police spokesperson Rebecca Kashoti, the couple had been living separately after the wife refused to stay with her husband for reasons known to her.
Kashoti said the husband later became romantically involved with another woman.
Upon learning about the affair, Njirayagoma allegedly confronted the pair and found them together.
In a fit of rage, she reportedly tore her husband’s trousers and bit his genitals.
The man was rushed to Malamulo Adventist Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.
Njirayagoma, who hails from Kang’oma Village under Senior Chief Khwethemule in Thyolo, is expected to appear in court soon to answer charges related to the incident.
