Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu supports Mbinzi with jerseys, balls
Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu (MMM) in partnership with Ebenezer Investments and Dulux Paints by Silkon Limited has donated football and netball jerseys as well as match balls to Mbinzi Secondary School in Lilongwe’s Area 3.
The gesture fulfils a pledge made by MMM in March this year, when they unveiled their 2025 jersey and planted trees at the school.
Speaking at the event, Ebenezer Investments managing director Jane Mfune said: “It importance to balance sports and academic commitments. I therefore encourage students to avoid risky behaviors that could lead to HIV infection, as the globe village commemorates World AIDS Day.”
On her part, MMM schools manager Linda Kasenda said the donation was aimed at creating a conducive environment for students while Mbinzi Secondary School’s sports master, Wezi Moyo, hailed MMM for the donation, saying “it was a much-needed boost for the school”.
The donation is part of MMM’s end-of-year activities, including a tournament scheduled for December 13 at Lilongwe Golf Club.
Mbinzi Secondary is a beneficiary of the MMM’s bursary program.
