Milanzi Interiors scoop consumer choice award

Milanzi Interiors, a firm that leads and redefines interior design, has won the Best Professional Interior Designing Company award at the Consumer Choice Awards gala held over the weekend in Lilongwe.

The award, which recognises excellence in colour, structure, and innovation, has excited the founder and principal designer, Samantha Heaven Milanzi, who is at the forefront of aesthetics.

“We design with intention. Every space we create becomes a silent ambassador for our clients; articulating their ambition, excellence, and authority in the industry,” Milanzi explains.

She adds, “Our designs communicate identity, elevate function, and shape environments that empower. We are demonstrating that interior design is not just about decorating. It is power. It’s a strategic tool for growth.”

She says that from designing five-story buildings to corporate boardrooms and private homes, Milanzi Interiors strives to transform how Malawians experience and perceive spaces.

“We need more trained interior designers,” she urges, adding, “This is a powerful industry; we shape the environments where people live, work, and gather. It’s time for interior design professionals in Malawi to come together to collaborate, advocate, and grow as a united community.”

She concludes with hope and purpose: “We’re grateful to the Consumer Choice Awards for honouring this profession. Interior design is finally receiving the respect it deserves, and this is just the beginning.”
