Capital FM journalists shine at MISA Malawi Awards

Three journalists from Capital FM have won various awards at Media Institute of Southern Africa –MISA Malawi awards ceremony.
The ceremony took place last night in Mzuzu as part of celebrations marking World Press Freedom Day.
Wezi Nyirongo won an award for outstanding reporting on human rights issues, while Kelvin Tembo received an award for excellence in reporting on water and sanitation topics.
Noel Mkwaila scooped two awards: one for outstanding coverage on disaster risk management and another for best reporting on adult literacy and education
At the same event, a renowned radio broadcaster, late Lucius Chikuni was posthumously honored with the Lifetime Achiever Award.
The overall top award went to Beatrice Mwape of Malawi Broadcasting Corporation –MBC.
