DPP holds primaries in Chiradzulu
The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is today conducting primary elections for its parliamentary and councillor candidates in the areas of Mombezi Ward and Mwanje Ward under Masanjala Constituency at Masanjala Primary School in Chiradzulu.
Eight candidates are contesting for the Member of Parliament position. These include:
- Kamau Patrick Mlongoti
- Rockie Chipenembe
- Glory Simbota
- Geoffrey Bwanali
- Silence Kachande
- Symon Nkhoma
- Peterkins Gwemba
- Tony Fletcher
For the Mombezi Ward councillor position, the following candidates are competing:
- Charles Chigwenembwe
- Benard Mponda
- Jane Mwakhama
- Simeji Nazombe
- Yamikani Chaponda
Meanwhile, for Mwanje Ward, the candidates are:
- Divasoni Maolera
- Rhodrick Kamowa
- Enock Namacha
- Jacqueline Majawa
- Douglas Mkweza
