Chifukato cha Achewa leadership optimistic about railway rehabilitation benefits
The leadership of the Chifukato cha Achewa cultural grouping has expressed optimism that the rehabilitation of the railway line from Marka, at the country’s border, to Bangula in Nsanje District will boost economic activities in Malawi once completed.
The organization’s leader, Paramount Chief Sosola of Salima, made these remarks on Saturday in the area of Paramount Chief Chimombo in Nsanje while inspecting the progress of the railway rehabilitation project.
