DPP parliamentary aspirant rehabilitates borehole in Chikwawa North

As part of his efforts to address the needs of people in Chikwawa North Constituency, Anganile Ngosi, who seeks to contest as a DPP candidate in the September 16 General Elections, has rehabilitated a borehole at Ling’awa 3 village.

Ngosi stated that the initiative directly responds to community concerns, as residents were at risk of contracting waterborne diseases.

“It is my strong ambition to also repair existing boreholes that are not functioning, thereby improving access to clean water,” said Ngosi.

One of the beneficiaries, Tiyanjane Maxwell from Ling’awa 3, TA Kasisi, expressed relief over the development.

“We struggled to find clean water since there were no boreholes in our area. We relied on the Shire River, which put our lives at risk due to dangerous aquatic animals,” Maxwell said.

“We truly appreciate what Ngosi has done for us, as it has eased our struggle to access safe water,” he added.
