FAM announces Scorchers final squad for Copper Queens friendlies

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has announced the final squad for two international friendly matches that the national women’s football team, Scorchers will play against Zambia.

The matches, set for February 20 and 23, 2025, will serve as part of preparations for 2026 WAFCON qualifiers matches slated for October this year.

Head coach Lovemore Fazili has named a squad featuring both local and foreign-based players, with a focus on assessing team coordination, defensive organization, and goalkeeping.
