Kawinga (C): We are doing all of this to fulfill the Gospel

The leader and founder of Salvation for All Ministries International, Apostle Clifford Kawinga, has once again extended his generosity to needy families in Karonga district by donating over 3,000 bags of maize, each weighing 20 kilograms, to help cushion them from the effects of hunger.
During the donation event at Kambwe Ground in the area of Paramount Chief Kyungu, Apostle Kawinga also preached the Gospel, emphasizing the importance of giving, regardless of one’s financial status.
“I have been in a similar situation as an orphan, and I was helped by others who lifted me out of hardship. That experience moved me, as a leader of Salvation for All Ministries International, to come here—not only to share the Word of God but also to provide food such as maize, so that people can at least afford a smile during this difficult time of hunger,” he said.
Apostle Kawinga further expressed joy that many people had accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.
“We are doing all of this to fulfill the Gospel. Our vision is to reach people across the country, regardless of their geographical location,” he added.
He also preached against behaviors that lead people into lifelong struggles, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, prostitution, and corruption, urging them to turn to Christ.
“Our church is now opening a branch in Karonga, but people must refrain from behaviors that bring trouble. To those who have received the donation, use it wisely—feed your families for the few days it lasts and continue working hard in your fields to ensure a good harvest,” he advised.
Paramount Chief Kyungu of Karonga and Chitipa commended Apostle Kawinga’s generosity, urging people to follow his example of love and kindness.
“Receive this donation with honor. Do not fight over it—let there be peace, love, and respect so that unity may prevail in our society,” he urged.
One of the beneficiaries, Joyce Munthali from Mwafilaso Village, expressed joy upon receiving a bag of maize, saying she felt blessed to be among those receiving assistance. She encouraged others to use the relief wisely to help ease the hardships brought by hunger.
The donation follows a two-year appeal by Frank Tumpale Mwenefumbo, who had called on Apostle Kawinga to assist people facing hunger in Karonga. The Gospel message was drawn from Matthew 15:1-4.
