888bet unveils Phyzix as ambassador

A new sports betting company, 888bet, has announced local Hip-Hop artist Phyzix as their brand ambassador.
While making the announcement on Monday in Blantyre, the Company’s Country Manager, Clement Phiri, said Phyzix whose real name is Noel Chikoleka, has been signed to a one-year contract.
Phiri told journalists at the unveiling ceremony that the company chose the artist based on his popularity with their potential customer base.
“We needed someone who resonates with our customer base and Phyzix covers exactly that. Our company looks forward to working with him as we expand our brand nationwide,” Phiri explained.
The Hip-Hop artist said he would preach responsible betting as the company’s brand ambassador.
Phyzix said: “So I’m very excited and humbled about it from the essence of the word ambassador. An ambassador is a representative, somebody who represents the culture. I have been engaged for this role because of the people who listen to my music.”
888sport is an international sports betting brand owned by Evoke plc and It was founded in 2008.
Malawi joins 7 other countries including the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kenya, and Zambia.
