WAPITA KAWIRI: Mtetemera suspended again
Creck Sporting Football Club has suspended its head coach, McDonald Mtetemela, due to the team’s poor performance in the second round of the TNM Super League.
The club’s general secretary, Aaron Mtaya, confirmed the decision, expressing concerns about the team’s recent form.
Mtaya also mentioned that Mtetemela is scheduled to appear before the team’s hearing committee on Friday.
The suspension follows a 0-1 loss to Karonga United at Dimba Stadium on Sunday.
This is the second time Mtetemela has been suspended this season; he was also suspended in the first round but later reinstated.
Josephy Kamwendo will serve as the interim head coach, beginning with the team’s upcoming away match against Civil Service United at Civo Stadium.
