The Publicity Secretary for the National Patriotic Party (NPP), Shola Kawonga, has expressed optimism that the party, under the leadership of its President, Daniel Dube will win the upcoming 2025 General Elections.

Kawonga believes that the NPP’s comprehensive policies and strategic approach will resonate with voters across the country.

Speaking during a familiarization meeting with party officials in Karonga yesterday, Kawonga emphasized that the party’s focus is on delivering concrete solutions to the country’s developmental challenges.

He contrasted the NPP’s approach with other parties that focus more on creating noise and public spectacle than offering substantive plans.

“It’s not about how much noise a party makes in the streets, but about the quality of policies and strategies it offers,” said Kawonga.

“The NPP, under the leadership of Dube, can positively transform Malawi, and I’m confident we will win in 2025 because our vision is clear, and our policies are solid.”

Kawonga went on to encourage party members to spread the message of hope and development to all corners of the country. He urged them to reach out to the electorate with tangible plans for national development, assuring them that the NPP will bring real change if given the mandate.

“We need to go to every place and explain to people what we, as the NPP, will do to change their lives for the better,” he said.

“Our focus is not just on campaigning but on presenting real developmental issues that will take place during the leadership of Dr. Dube. The people need to know how our policies will impact their communities.”

He also revealed that the party is planning a series of major rallies in the northern districts of Karonga and Chitipa, where they have seen significant interest in the party’s agenda.

According to Kawonga, people in these districts are eager to hear from the NPP leadership and learn more about the developmental projects the party aims to implement.

“We will soon hold mega rallies in Karonga and Chitipa because the people there are showing a lot of enthusiasm to hear our plans,” Kawonga said.

“They are ready to embrace the developmental agenda of Dr. Dube and the NPP, and we are confident that our message is resonating with them.”

Kawonga also addressed concerns within the party, urging all members to stay united and speak with one voice as they work to expand the party’s influence.

He stressed that internal cohesion and teamwork are crucial to their success in the upcoming elections.

“We must remain united as a party. This is the time to speak with one voice when convincing people to join us. Unity will be the foundation of our victory,” Kawonga said, adding that the party’s nationwide presence is growing stronger each day.

Regarding the much-anticipated NPP convention, Kawonga assured members that it would be held soon, but for now, their focus should be on reaching out to the electorate with the party’s message of transformation.

“The convention will be held soon, but until then, we should focus on what truly matters – engaging with the people and explaining our vision for Malawi under Dube’s leadership.”

He concluded by reaffirming that the NPP is prepared to lead Malawi into a new era of development, growth, and prosperity. “We are ready to lead this country.

Under Dube’s leadership, we have the vision and the capacity to make a real difference in people’s lives,” Kawonga said.

The NPP’s recent activity, particularly in the northern region, signals the party’s growing momentum as it builds up for the 2025 elections, positioning itself as a serious contender to bring about meaningful change in Malawi’s political landscape.
