Queens to start camping this weekend
Malawi Netball National Team (Queens) coach, Joanna Kachilika has invited 26 players to a training camp in preparation for the upcoming Test Series against South Africa.
The series is scheduled to take place at Ellis Park in South Africa from October 31 to November 3, 2024.
According to the Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) general secretary Yamikani Khungwa Kauma, the team and technical staff will leave for South Africa on October 28.
“Prior to their departure, the Queens will undergo a three-week training camp in Lilongwe from October 6 to 28, NAM General Secretary Yamikani,” Khungwa Kauma said.
Khungwa Kauma said the intensive training camp aims to ensure the team is well-prepared for the challenge against South Africa.
