PDP eyes solo run in 2025
People’s Development Party (PDP) President, Kondwani Nankhumwa has said the party will go solo in 2025’s presidential election.
He told party National Governing Council (NGC) meeting in Salima that PDP is people centred and it will triumph in the elections.
“PDP is a party for the people of Malawi, built on a bottom-up approach to empower local communities,” he said.
The meeting, aimed at strengthening strategy for the elections, officially ends tomorrow.
Among other activities, NGC members are drawing a roadmap for the election that will see PDP challenging other well established parties.
