A Ntcheu based man, Peter Vanasiyo, has won K200 million from a K200 stake in betPawa’s Aero virtual game, the betting company made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon in Blantyre.

Speaking at an event where he was presented with a dummy cheque, Vanasiyo revealed that he was introduced to betPawa Casino Games by his friends and described the win as a shock saying he only played it for fun.

He said: “I just play when I can, when I have a little extra money. It is good entertainment for me. I do not think anyone ever really sees it coming.

“I didn’t even have a feeling that I was going to win, I just let the game go. The feeling is unbelievable!”

Aero, a crash game released by its maker Turbo in August last year, is popular and exciting, entails a player placing a bet on a virtual plane and watching it fly higher and higher.

The player can decide to cash out at any point or hold on to see how high it climbs.

The aim of the game is to cash out the bet before the plane vanishes or until it reaches the peak height, after which the system automatically cashes out the player, having hit the maximum payout limit.

According to betPawa officials, the game is among a large variety of exciting crash games on offer where several players have joined the multi-millionaires league after winning big on the platform.

The company’s southern Africa marketing manager Bwalya Musonda Noah said:  “When we say you can bet small and win big, we mean it. Vanasiyo played with only K100 per bet where he placed two similar bets to win K200 million in total.

“Even as we continue to see more winners on our platform, we pay out every win promptly. Rest assured all payouts are guaranteed whether the amount is big or small.”

The ecstatic Vanasiyo revealed plans to expand his farm and employ more people on a permanent basis as currently he only hires seasonal workers due to his business being small scale.

He joined several other betPawa customers from Malawi who have won big in the last few months. In May this year, Francis Chigudu won K125 million while Jacques Tuyizere, a businessman from Lilongwe won K250 million both on Aviator.

Steve Kaluba, also triumphed on the same game to win K174.2 million in February this year.
