Agriculture Trade Fair set for next week

This year’s three-day National Agriculture Trade Fair will run between Thursday and Saturday next week in Blantyre.
The event is organised by the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI).
This 20th edition of the fair, according to MCCCI director of membership development Wezi Mungoni, has an improved number of exibitors compared to last year.
“As at 20 August, participation in terms pavilions occupied by exhibitors stands at 131. This is higher compared to 116 pavilions occupied during the 19th National Agriculture Fair,” Mungoni revealed.
Mungoni added that: “The exhibition will showcase various industries and sectors that exemplify the various players in the Agro-sector. From manufacturing, financial services, technology to agriculture and value-added services, the 20th fair will provide a platform for local and international delegates and exhibitors to connect, collaborate, and explore new business opportunities.”
This year’s agricultural fair will be held under the theme; Driving Towards Export-Oriented Agriculture through Commercialization and Innovation.
