MNCS kicks off weekly health walks to promote fitness
The Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) are kicking off the first of a series of weekly 14 km health walks today at 2:00 p.m.
The activity will be taking place every Friday afternoon at the set time with an aim of encouraging good health through physical exercising.
In an earlier interview, MNCS spokesperson Edgar Ntulumbwa said the activity will also serve as a platform to raise awareness for the upcoming 6th edition of the Blantyre 42.195 km race which is scheduled for September 7 in Blantyre.
