The National Women’s Football Association (NWFA) has hailed White Eagles coach Karen Chaula as an inspiration for future generations.

Chaula is set to participate in the prestigious CAF B coaching course, scheduled for August 18 to October 18 this year.

This advanced training aims to equip coaches with expertise in tactics, player development, and team management.

According to the Football Association of Malawi (FAM), the CAF B License is crucial for producing top-class coaches who can compete with the best in Africa.

FAM Technical Director Benjamin Kumwenda emphasized the importance of training more coaches at the CAF B level to meet Club Licensing demands and provide Super League clubs with a wider pool of qualified coaches.

Adelaide Migogo, chairperson of the NWFA, praised Chaula as a role model for local coaches, particularly women, to aspire to greater heights.

“Karen Chaula has set the bar higher, and we expect her to go even further, obtaining the CAF A License,” Migogo said.

Chaula’s participation in the CAF B course is a testament to her dedication and passion for football.

Her achievement serves as a motivation for others to follow in her footsteps, paving the way for a new generation of top-class coaches in Malawi.
