Veteran musician Lucius Banda has died.
Reports indicate that the local music icon was admitted at a hospital in South Africa after he was diagnosed with kidney failure.
He was also a politician serving with the UTM which is a key alliance partner in the Tonse administration.
‘Soldier’ rose to stardom in the 1990’s with his liberation songs in which he criticised bad governance and corruption.
He had 20 music albums to his credit.
