Qubix Robotics celebrates Kanthema’s fellowship award
Thezhi Chisomo Kanthema, co-founder and chief operations officer of Qubix Robotics has arrived in the USA where he is participating in the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders at the University of Notre Dame.
The Mandela Washington Fellowship, a flagship program of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), is designed to empower young African leaders through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking opportunities.
The program focuses on leadership in Business and Entrepreneurship, providing fellows with the skills and connections needed to drive economic growth and prosperity in their communities.
Thezhi’s selection for this fellowship is a significant honour and a testament to his dedication, hard work and visionary leadership.
Communicating through the company’s official Facebook page, Qubix said Kanthema’s participation in this program is expected to further enhance his leadership abilities and business acumen.
“We are grateful to the U.S. Embassy in Lilongwe and the YALI program for recognizing Thezhi’s impact as a young business executive and believing in his vision. As he embarks on this journey, he continues to inspire us all, paving the way for the next generation of young leaders,” reads part of the statement.
