The Competition and Fair-Trading Commission (CFTC) is warning against the sale and use of a single-use shampoo contained in Dark and Lovely kits.
According to CFTC’s spokespersons Innocent Helema, the commission has received information on the recall of the hair product manufactured by L’Oréal South Africa due to the presence of bacteria.
According to the manufacturer, using this shampoo may lead to scalp infections in those with compromised immune systems.
CFTC is yet conduct a survey to establish whether the recalled product is available on the Malawi market.
