An academician is stressing the need for youth involvement in issues of climate justice to reduce their vulnerability during disasters.

Records indicate that the youth are the most affected group during disasters with many dying in the process.

Speaking during a Children and Youth Regional Climate Justice Mentorship and COP28 Feedback Session, Catholic University Vice Chancellor, Ngeyi Kanyongolo, stressed the need to equip the youth with necessary knowledge.
