MEC positive on next year’s polls
Electoral authorities are upbeat that the voter registration exercise for next year’s polls will be smooth and efficient.
It follows the arrival of the last lot of the 6,500 election management devices that the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has procured with the aim to ease voter registration and other processes ahead of the polls.
MEC Commissioner Richard Chapweteka has explained the significance of the devices to the election process.
