Reunion Insurance sponsors ‘Mr Jokes comedy night’

Reunion Insurance Company Limited has sponsored Mr Jokes Comedy Night to the tune of K2.5 million.
Dubbed An Experience with Mr. Jokes Comedy Night, the event is scheduled to take place at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe on June 29 this year.
Speaking during the cheque handover ceremony in Blantyre, the company’s marketing and business development manager Miller John Joshua underscored the important role that comedy plays in sustaining and enhancing the success of various ventures.
“With his unique blend of humour and creativity, Mr. Jokes will bring people who are also our customers together, foster connections, and create shared memories. Reunion Insurance will continue to support and work with different stakeholders in various industries as part of Corporate Social Responsibility and develop various developments,” Miller said.
Reacting to the company’s gesture, the artist whose real name is Andreya Thonyiwa said the support will go a long way in preparing for the event.
“This is a great milestone to the show which I am organizing for the first time in the capital city after a successful similar event in Blantyre. I appeal for more partners’ support to meet the pegged K10 million,” said Mr Jokes.
Other artists expected to perform during the night include comedian Ching’aning’ani and poets like Raphael Sitima, Giring’ande Mr Handsome, Joseph Madzedze, Padiwa Khacho and Jadidi.
The event will also be spiced up by music performances by Malawi’s Amapiano Queen Jetu, Zeze Kingston, Gibo Pearson, Temwa, Joseph Mkasa, Strongingo, and ADM Dancing Crew.
