There are fresh calls for parliament to enact a legal provision to guide the formation of political alliances for partners to adhere to and prevent disagreements.
A political analyst George Chaima views this as the only way for people to trust political parties making such arrangements while drawing lessons from the Tonse Alliance.
Chaima states that in the absence of such legal provisions, political partnerships and electoral alliances will be prone to non-adherence and defeat their purpose;
