MANEPO bets on older person’s bill
The Malawi Network of Older Persons Organization-MANEPO is hopeful that the recently passed older person’s bill will provide social protection to the elderly.
One of the clauses in the bill states that a grant should be given to older persons in order to sustain their livelihoods.
Many older persons are tasked with the responsibility of looking after orphaned children without adequate resources.
