Relief efforts are continuing for hundreds of households affected by hostile weather conditions since the onset of the rain season last October.

Stormy rains, floods, strong winds and lightning have so far claimed at least 20 lives while some 97,610 people have been affected in one way or the other across the country.

Meanwhile, around 9,410 people are currently sheltering in 10 camps set up in Chikwawa, Karonga, Mangochi, Nkhotakota and Nkhata Bay districts.
