Ticket sales are underway across all selected points in Lilongwe as the build up to this year’s Martse Memorial Show continues.
Real name Martin Nkhata, the Hip hop artist and beat maker died on 23rd May two years ago in a reported arson incident in Mangochi.
Martse’s tribute show will be staged at Civo stadium in Lilongwe on Saturday, 25th May from 10 o’clock in the morning.
The memorial show will feature Controller hit maker Onesimus, Amolo singer Wikise, Hyphen and Piksy among other popular musicians.
According to the organizers of the event, Too Ghetto Too Gutter – Martse Foundation, the tickets are ranging from K2,000 to K8,000.
Martse was known for songs like Go Deeper, Adidas and Mwano among others and are still rated as hits on the local music scene as thousands continue to enjoy them on various streaming platforms including radio stations.
