Nthambi Arts Club in 5th anniversary celebration
Nthambi Arts Club is on Saturday set to celebrate 5 years of existence in the country.
The Anniversary celebrations’ chairperson Joseph Sazuze says the event will take place at Phalombe Secondary School where a number of events including poetry and stage drama will spice up the undertakings.
“We have decided to celebrate with people of Phalombe because we believe that we have a good following there and we want to inspire the youth in the district that it is possible to realize their dream through art,” said Sazuze.
Among other performers, the event will have celebrated Chala changa poet Raphael Sitima along with Jane Senenje, Darlington Sally and John Mwepesa as well as Phalombe Secondary School drama group before Nthambi Arts will dish out ‘Tsogolo la Joana’ play.
Established on 18th May in 2019, the group of young talented actors and actresses is commonly known to the public through ‘Nzotheka’ play which is aired on Blantyre Synod Radio.
