The police in Mzimba have launched a manhunt for unknown assailants who have assaulted to death an employee from the district’s forestry office.
The deceased, Louis Munyenyembe, 37, who was working as a Senior Forest Assistant is believed to have been assaulted by charcoal traffickers while on duty.
According to Mzimba police spokesperson Peter Botha, Munyenyembe was found lying unconscious by passers-by.
