TNM, Sulom to unveil new sponsorship package on Wednesday

With the 2024 TNM Super League season set to kick off on Saturday, the sponsorship package is expected to be unveiled on Wednesday at a yet to be communicated venue, we have established.

Expectations are high among stakeholders after main sponsors of the league TNM Plc announced an upward review of the package.

The Football Association of Malawi and Super League of Malawi (Sulom) leadership have indicated that they are seeking a sponsorship of no less than half a billion kwacha per season, a significant increase from last year’s K150 million.

“The unveiling of the sponsorship with TNM is going to be done on Wednesday. There is going to be a street parade that will be organized by the sponsors followed by a press briefing. But a proper communication will be done,” Sulom president Gilbert Mittawa said in passing.

Meanwhile, FA first vice president Christopher Kuyera has assured top flight teams that they will receive their subventions from the association in the soonest time possible.

“In the next few weeks, the teams will receive their money because we have it as we speak and they should be assured,” Kuyera made the assurance.
