Morgan Heritage lead singer dies
Peter Morgan, lead singer of the popular reggae band, Morgan Heritage, has died.
According to his family, the 46-year-old musician died on Sunday.
However, the family statement posted on social media did not share the cause of death but asked for privacy while at the same time thanked people in advance for their love and support.
Morgan, known as “Peetah,” was a son of renowned Jamaican reggae artist Denroy Morgan.
Together with his four siblings, they formed Morgan Heritage in 1994, a band that won a Grammy Award for best reggae album in 2016.
Many people have and are still paying tributes following the death of the legendary reggae icon.
