NAM releases U21 WCQ squad

Chimwala: We need more than just monetary support
Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) has released a list of 26 players to join camp in preparation for the World Youth Cup Qualifying games slated for 17 to 23 March in Pretoria, South Africa this year.
Under 21 national netball team coach Christina Mkwanda reveals that the athletes have been selected from across all regions.
“We have confidence in the girls because they have played very well in their respective regions hence our trust in them to deliver the best performance” Mkwanda explained.
Meanwhile, NAM general secretary Isaac Chimwala has rallied support from government and fans.
He said: “We need more than just monetary support; our girls need emotional support as well for them to perform exceptionally well at the event.”
The Netball World Youth Cup will take place in Gibraltar next year.
