SULOM to host a fundraising dinner

The Super League of Malawi (SULOM) has organised a fundraising dinner on March 1 this year at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Making an announcement of the development at a media briefing in Blantyre on Friday, Acting SULOM president Gilbert Mittawa stressed that the money will help in the body’s operation costs as well as helping to finance elite league clubs’ logistics at the start of the season.
Mittawa said: “The Dinner is aimed at raising funds for the league and Clubs participating in the TNM Super League. SULOM is therefore appealing to all companies, organizations and individuals to support this fundraising event with cash or materials.
“SULOM strongly believes that any support towards the dinner will positively contribute to SULOM’s efforts in Reviving, Reforming and Rebranding the League into a viable brand capable of contributing to the country’s social-economic development.”
Meanwhile, the dinner’s fundraising committee chairperson Twikale Chirwa believes people will support the cause for the betterment of football in the country.
“The dinner is priced at K200,000 per individual. For corporate tables; Platinum is at K10,000,000 which will carter for full branding on entrance, mainstage, table branding and merchandise display. Gold is at K7,000,000 and it will provide for partial branding at the entrance, merchandise display, 2 roll up banners and table branding whereas Silver which is at K5,000,000 allows for partial branding thus table branding and 2 roll up banners,” highlighted Chirwa.
