TNM donates K10m to Presidential Charity Golf Tournament

TNM Plc. has become the first company to support this year’s Presidential Charity Golf Tournament.
The mobile network and ICT service provider has made a K10 million sponsorship towards cause.
Speaking during the presentation in Blantyre, TNM chief executive officer, Michel Hebert, said: “The sponsorship is a continuation of TNM’s spirit of standing together with Malawians in their time of need as proceeds of th upcoming tournament will benefit Cyclone Freddy survivors and needy students in tertiary institutions.”
On her part, one of the organising committee members for the event, Sophie Kalambule, thanked the mobile network and ICT service provider’s support adding that it will go a long way.
“We are very excited and thankful to TNM for making this donation whill will go a long way in reaching out to our colleagues who are struggling in the aftermath of Cyclone Freddy and those that are struggling to pay for their schools fees in public universities.” She said.
Slated for October 7 at Lilongwe Golf Club, the Presidential Charity Golf Tournament is targeting to raise at least K400 million.
