‘Extreme’ mid-season signings

Extreme FC players celebrating victory in one of their league matches

Mchinji-based rookies, Extreme Football Club, have buttressed their resolve to stay put in the Super League clear by making more mid-season window signings than all their rivals.

During the window that closed on Monday night, the current table anchors roped in the services of seven players including Willard Dickson from Civil Service United.

Others who have joined on loan are Mwakifuna Wakisa from Karonga United and John Jafalie from Villa FC while Mphatso Dzongololo, Foster Biton, Mark Kwalira and Stephano George who are all free agents.

Extreme FC general secretary, Kondwani Kayira, is upbeat with the new signings.

“The players we have recruited have played in the Super League before and we believe their experience will help us win games and survive relegation.” Kayira said.

Extreme are currently anchoring the log table with 10 points only from 17 games played thus far.

They have only managed to win 2 games, drawing 4 times and the rest are defeats.
