Bullets set for CAF assignment
Malawi’s FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are in Equatorial Guinea ahead of their first leg CAF Champions League preliminary round against Dragon FC on Sunday.
The team left the country on Wednesday and had a break in Beira before connecting to Addis Ababa where they spent a night in Ethiopia.
They arrive Malabo today from Addis Ababa via Cameroon.
Minus being hit by injuries, Bullets tactician Kalisto Pasuwa is optimistic of doing well at the continental showpiece.
“So far so good, the players are doing well. The only setback is that a lot of them are sustaining injuries during training sessions and games. But all in all we are hoping for the best.” Said the Zimbabwean tactician.
After the match at Estadio de Malabo, the Peoples Team will host their opponent next week Sunday at Bingu National stadium in Lilongwe.
The winner between the two sides will face TP Mazembe of Democratic Republic of Congo in the second round of the competition.
