The first round of the 2023 TNM Super League season concludes today with two matches lined up for action.

Tenth placed Moyale Barracks are playing host to third placed Silver Strikers at Mzuzu stadium while struggling Mighty Tigers are hosting FCB Nyasa Big Bullets at Kamuzu stadium.

Currently holding position three with from 28 points from 14 games, the Central Bankers want a win to displace Bullets on top position who have played the same number of games and have 29 points..

On the other hand, Tigers are hungry for maximum points to move out of relegation while the People’s Team wants to finish the round on top as the journey to defending the title continues.

Bullets head coach Kalisto Pasuwa believes this is another crucial match in their quest to defending the title.

“It is good that we should finish on a high note. We know that these are teams that are coming hard on us every time we meet them.” Said Pasuwa.
