NBM finalises MO Cardless withdrawal promotion
Tepelunde: It has been a very successful promotion
National Bank of Malawi plc. has revealed that the MO Cardless Promotion has increased the number of transactions by 34 percent.
The disclosure was made during the final draw of the promotion in Blantyre on Wednesday.
The promotion commenced on the 29th of March and ended on 30th June 2023.
The overall winners are those with the highest number of redeemed tokens on either Mo626ice, Mon26Digitalt, Mo626 Wallet and BankNet360.
The grand prize winner, Kunozga Mlowoka has walked away with K1,500,000,000.
The first runner up, Afonso Vincent received K1,000,000 and the second place winner Miraji Twaha Allie received K750,000.
Other 20 winners received June monthly prizes of K30,000 and K20,000.
The bank’s Card Business Manager Stewart Tepelunde has since described the promotion as a success.
‘It has been a very successful promotion because we have managed to meet the objective that we had set from the onset of the promotion. We have grown the numbers by 34 percent which is quite high.” He said.
Tepelunde added that: “We have had a few technical hitches here and there but the criteria was clear to say we are focusing on those that will successfully redeem their tokens on our ATM.” Tepelende explained.
The promotion was aimed at increasing awareness and accelerate usage of digital platforms.
