Malawi in World Cup qualifiers’ Group H
The Malawi National Football team has been drawn in Group H of the FIFA World Cup 2026 African Preliminary Qualifiers.
The draw took place on Thursday in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
The Flames are along with Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Sao Tome And Principe as well as Liberia.
According to the Confederation of African Football CAF; “winners of each Group will automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The four best runners-up (from the Groups) will play in a CAF Play-Off tournament. The winner of the CAF Play-Off Tournament will play in the FIFA Play-off Tournament to potentially be the 10th African nation. The qualifiers will begin in November this year.”
The qualifying campaign is set to begin in November this year.
