Who will Malawi face in World Cup qualifiers?

The Malawi National Football team is later today expected to know their opponents in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
The Confederations of African Football – CAF will at 5pm conduct the draw for the African Preliminaries Qualifiers in Ivory Coast.
For the draw, the member associations of CAF will be divided into nine groups where winners of each set will automatically qualify for the world prestigious football event.
On the other hand, best runners-up from each group will go into CAF playoffs where the winner will further into FIFA playoffs tournament.
The Flames have been placed in pot 4 alongside Mozambique, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Togo, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Central African Republic and Libya.
