Local players dominate Mabedi’s Cosafa squad
Malawi National Football team caretaker Coach Patrick Mabedi has included only two foreign based players in his 25-member squad for this year’s Hollywoodbets Cosafa Cup.
The two are strikers Chawanangwa Kaonga and Chifundo Mphasi who are both plying their trade in Zambia at Zanaco and Shamuel Academy respectively.
The Flames have left the country this morning for a tournament which is slated for Durban, South Africa from tomorrow to Sunday next week.
