FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Kalisto Pasuwa is confident that the club’s latest signing will add value to the teams attacking force.
The team welcomed Nigerian forward Chinedu Okafor on a two year deal from Bahrain side Isa Town Sports Club.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, Okafor promised to pull out his best card for the reds in the forthcoming football season.
Cognizant of the club’s values, the forward has vowed to embrace the clubs winning mentality under the guidance of the coaching panel.
“I look forward to a very successive partnership with the Bullets family in the forthcoming seasons. I am going to give my best performance in every given competition which the team will be participating in,” Okafor explained.
Okafor,22, began his career back in 2019 when he joined Jordan League club Shabab Al-Hussein, where he played for one season before joining Sudanese Al-Shorta Ayears – Quadarif in 2020 and then to Bahrain in the 2021 season.
Meanwhile the reigning TNM Super League Champions head Coach Kalisto Pasuwa describes the new signing as a step in the right direction stating that the team needed a variation of height and tactical abilities to tackle local and international teams.
Pasuwa said: “We are not looking locally. We play in competitions which demand stature among other dimensions of football. He was spotted as a person of value to our club.”
Chinedu Okafor is not the only new face at the club as Pasuwa reveals, there may be more international signings that will improve depth of players in their squad.
Meanwhile, one of the club’s strikers Hassan Kajoke has extended his stay at Bullets.
Kajoke has signed a contract to play for the bullets for the next three years.
