Pre-season international bonanza successful- Bullets
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets officials are describing their just ended pre-season international bonanza as a success, despite failing to register a win from all their three matches.
The three-day event which took place at the Kamuzu stadium from Friday to Sunday, was participated by hosts, Bullets and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers as well as two Mozambican clubs UD Songo and Ferroviario De Nampula.
Bullets played barren draws against Nampula and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on Friday and Saturday respectively before they proceeded to a one nil defeat against UD Songo on Sunday.
UD Songo were crowned Champions after managing two wins against the Malawi sides and a draw against their Mozambican counterparts.
Albert Chigoga who is the Chief Administration Officer for Bullets said; “Whatever we set out to do has been done from the commercial side of it as well as the sporting side of it. Randomly, checking and getting feedback from stakeholders, this is the best pre-season bonanza that Bullets has organised.”
On day two of the bonanza, Bullets official sponsors, First Capital Bank, flew a helicopter which was dishing out the team’s replica jerseys in various townships around Blantyre.
The bonanza was held barely days after the people’s team’s rebranding, following their new sponsorship deal with the First Capital Bank (FCB) Plc., topping up their existing Nyasa Manufacturing company deal.
