Silver Strikers parts with 4
Silver Strikers are considering parting ways with four players, despite the quartet having valid contracts with the club.
Company Secretary for the club, Peter Masiye has confirmed in a statement.
The four are Taonga Chimodzi, Blessings Tembo, John Chalamba and Prince Phiri.
According to Masiye, some of the players’ contracts expired last year on December 15th and others are due for expiry on February 28th.
The development is coming at a time clubs are busy utilizing the transfer window to build better team’s ahead kick off of the 2023 super league season.
Although the bankers have let go of the four, they have also made 4 new signings namely; Hassan Kajoke, Emmanuel Kaunga, China Chirwa and Gift Chunga to join the Area 47 based giants.
On the other hand, Frank Banda, Mike Robert, Misheck Malaicha and Levison Maganizo have been already been offloaded from the Club.
If the discussions with the other four players to leave materialize, the club will have parted ways with 8 players.
