Malawi Queens hope to maintain winning trend

The Malawi national netball team is maintaining an unbeaten streak at the ongoing 2023 Africa Netball World Cup qualifiers in South Africa.
The Malawi Queens have finished their group B campaign on a high note, following their 61-49 win over Zambia on Thursday.
Speaking after the Zambia Game, Queens Coach Peace Chawinga has expressed satisfaction with the level of play and performance of her team.
“What mattered most today was a win and we got that win and a i man pleased,” said Chawinga.
The result means the Queens have managed three wins out of the three games they have played in the group.
On Tuesday, they defeated Kenya 72-31 while on Monday they won against Eswatini 69-50.
Looking ahead to their next game, Chawing has stressed that they will have to take a different approach, bearing in mind that this will be a knockout stage.
Malawi’s next assignment is a semifinal match today against Zimbabwe.
