Jere Ngonis geared for Umthetho fest
All is set for this year’s Umtheto Cultural Festival’s main event scheduled to take place at the foot of Hora Mountain in Mzimba District.
The event, which aims at preserving the Ngoni culture failed to take place in the past two years due to Covid-19 prevention restrictions on gatherings.
This year, the annual event started on, Wednesday and will reach its climax on Saturday when various dignitaries from within and across the borders are expected to attend.
Mzimba Heritage Association MZIHA General Secretary, Moses Mkandawire, has told Capital FM that they are hopeful for a successful event.
President Lazarus Chakwera is expected to attend the Cutural event’s main activities on saturday
