Mlambe
hospital appeals for financial and material support.
An appeal
has gone out to the public and the private sector
to render financial and material support to Mlambe
hospital in Blantyre if the health facility is
to effectively provide health services to patients.
Sounding the Save our souls SOS
bell, the hospital's administrator George Goliati
disclosed that the hospital is currently running
on money paid by patients from its private section.
According to Goliati, almost
80% of patients are from rural communities who
get medical attention without any payment hence
the need for various organizations to render their
support towards the hospital.
