Roma Nyowizy Nyowela , wrote, “sorry come to Jesus and you will never be bored.”

“Ha!Ha!Ha you have come at a wrong time,”  commented Mark SU Ntata

Williams Uloma Purity  said: “Seriously Davido said he is bored and He gets a like for being bored. Sometimes l wonder if some people know what the word “Like” means.”

“I don't get it, he said he is bored not that your country is boring and why bring Boko Haram issues here? Lets always be united as Africans. Keep the peace and let him express his opinions without fear or favour,” commented Jimmy Thembakako.

Akinsete Ayodele wrote: “But why you all surprised he is bored. That is life. He has seen all money can buy, he is famous and he is enjoying life but still bored. Life is vanity.

“That's why some of us don't support your music. We had, Fantan Mojah, a few weeks ago, where himself and people had real fun. The difference between artists like you and the rest is that you are a childish, weak hearted a full of yourself. Next time you go anywhere remember to respect everything you see and meet,” said Gift Richard Maloya.

One of the Malawi’s seasoned artists Lucius Banda also commented on the matter

Said Lucius Chicco Banda: “I can’t see the reason for all these insults to the young man. He just said" bored" he didn’t say bored with Malawi or so and so.

His comment has so far received 57.

Journalist Maurice Delano Nkawihe, replied;  “Lucius Banda, please spare us with your explanations, the last time I checked you weren’t Davido's PR so don’t lecture us of what celebrity's life is like. If Zuma apologized for demeaning us, who is Davido, not to? Let him retract his status because it’s so demeaning.

How would you feel if someone comes into your house says he is bored? How would you feel? replied Sämmíé Sächíër Chimwenje Phírí

Replied Ernest Phiri; “If I say am bored in Balaka you would smile and clap hands for me. Is he the first artist to come to Malawi?”

He added: “Many big names like Lucky Dube,Sam mangwana and oliver Mtukuzi came here none insulted us. Why are you backing him yet he is damaging your mother land?”

Lucius Banda replied by writing;  “I’m not backing him up, I’m just watching you overcrowding him up the whole day, taking photos with him the whole day, hugging him the whole day. He gets tired and bored then you insult him the whole day.”

Aside his other two facebook post and tweets on twitter which have also attracted a heated debate. Davido has made news headlines in the country on his alleged altercation with a security guard at a hotel in Lilongwe.

When contacted for comment the Managing Director of M-Cinema, Udokporo Nathaniel, said his company is going to make a press statement to clarify reports that Davido has left the country without settling a hospitality bill worth K1.4 million.

In May 2014, Davido slandered the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) after missing his flight to London. He accused them of pestering him for money.

On May 11, 2014, the Public Relations Officer for the NIS threw light on Davido's allegations and said that they didn't issue him an exit permit because he didn't have the proper traveling documents with him at the time.

After failing to show up on two occasions, Davido is scheduled to perform in the country in April this year.
